Information RPGME Collects

• Account and profile information: your name, email address, profile image, authentication identifier, and RPGME profile settings.
• Information you create: skills, sphere groups, schedules, goals, activities, integration mappings, XP rules, public-profile selections, and progression.
• Connected-service information: external account details, supported activities, dates, titles, descriptions, categories, and metrics received with your authorization.
• Technical information: ordinary server logs such as request times, requested URLs, IP addresses, browser or device information, response statuses, and application errors.

RPGME currently uses Google for authentication. RPGME does not receive or store your Google password.

How information is used

RPGME uses this information to authenticate users, operate accounts, import authorized activities, calculate metrics and progression, display user-selected public-profile information, maintain security, troubleshoot integrations, improve reliability, and respond to support or privacy requests.

Connected Services and Credentials

Connecting an external service is optional. RPGME receives only information made available through the permissions you authorize. When required to maintain a connection, RPGME may store access or refresh tokens in encrypted form. RPGME does not receive or store the password for a connected service.

Information you provide directly to Google, GitHub, or another external service is also governed by that provider's privacy statement and terms.

Disconnecting a Connected Account

Disconnecting a connected account marks the connection inactive. Disconnecting does not, by itself, delete information that RPGME previously imported from that service.

You may also revoke RPGME's authorization through the external provider. Revocation prevents future authorized requests but does not automatically remove information already stored by RPGME.

Deleting Imported Data

RPGME provides an option in Account Settings to permanently delete imported data associated with a connected account. This removes imported activities and associated stored metrics for that connection from RPGME's active systems.

Deleting imported data from RPGME does not delete or modify the original information held by the external provider. For example, it does not delete GitHub commits, pull requests, repositories, or your GitHub account.

Deleting imported data does not necessarily deactivate the connection. If the connected account remains active, a later synchronization may import eligible information again. Disconnect the integration as well if you do not want RPGME to request new data from it.

Deleting Your RPGME Account

RPGME provides an account-deletion option in Account Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your RPGME account and associated user-owned information from RPGME's active systems, including:

• Account, profile, and public-profile information
• Skills, sphere groups, schedules, and goals
• Connected accounts and locally stored authorization credentials
• Imported activities and associated metrics
• Integration mappings and user-specific XP rules
• XP events, levels, attributes, and calculated progression
• Other records owned solely by your RPGME account

Account deletion does not delete your Google, GitHub, or other external account, and does not delete original data held by those providers. Where supported, RPGME may attempt to revoke provider authorization; you may also revoke it through the provider's settings. A deleted RPGME account cannot be restored through the application.

Retention and Backups

RPGME retains account and activity information while it is needed to provide the service or until you delete the relevant imported data or RPGME account. A requested deletion removes covered information from the active application database.

Copies may remain temporarily in system backups, security records, or operational logs until they expire or are overwritten through ordinary retention and backup-rotation processes. RPGME may retain limited information when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or a minimal non-identifying record that deletion occurred.

RPGME will not intentionally use deleted information from backups to recreate a deleted account.

Analytics

RPGME does not currently use a dedicated product-analytics, advertising-analytics, behavioral-tracking, or session-replay service. Ordinary technical logs and aggregated operational information may be used to maintain security, diagnose failures, and operate the service.

If RPGME later introduces analytics, advertising, cookies, affiliate tracking, or similar technology, this statement will be updated to explain what is collected, why it is collected, which providers receive it, how long it is retained, and what user controls are available.

Public Profiles

RPGME profiles are private unless a user chooses to make them public. Public information may be viewed by anyone with the profile URL and may appear in link previews generated and cached by third-party services. A third-party preview may remain cached after the RPGME profile changes or becomes private.

RPGME does not intentionally include email addresses, authentication identifiers, authorization credentials, or raw private integration data in public-profile responses.

Service Providers and Sharing

RPGME may rely on providers for authentication, hosting, infrastructure, database or file storage, support communication, security, error monitoring, and integrations authorized by users. These providers may process information as necessary to perform services for RPGME.

RPGME does not sell personal information or provide personal information to advertising networks.

Security

RPGME uses reasonable safeguards intended to protect account information and connected-service credentials, including encrypted transport, restricted access, and encryption of stored authorization credentials where applicable. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children's Privacy

RPGME is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact RPGME if you believe a child has provided personal information.

Changes to This Statement

RPGME is under active development. This statement may change as new integrations, profile features, analytics, advertising, affiliate relationships, subscriptions, or other functionality are introduced. Updated versions and effective dates will be published on this page. Additional notice will be provided when reasonably appropriate or legally required for material changes.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for using connected services in accordance with their terms.

Service availability

Features may change, integrations may become unavailable, and imported data may be delayed or incomplete. RPGME progression is informational and recreational.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, access another person's data, or automate access outside supported features...pls 😅
